Bill put his bills in a pail.  Ben pasted his bills on a pane.  A gale blew off Bill's pail.  Bill's pail then broke up Ben's pane.  Bill turned pale and came to ask Ben, Where're my bills?  Ben answered angrily, Got a pate?  Is it a pain to lose what you gotta pay?  Better fix my pane first.  Fix your pain?  Let it be my bane if I had bills enough for it! Bill bellowed with sorrow.  The two then bickered and then battered each other's pate.  Their pains could not be bated or blown off by such blows, though.  They were both sent to jail.  No one came to bail them out, because Bill had neither bills nor pals and Ben had even more bills to pay than gals.
