[J-11] Absent-minded Professor 心不在焉的教授
A professor was still thinking about a deep problem when he reached home. At his door he pressed the doorbell for three times. Then a maid's voice from the second floor answered, “Sorry, the professor is not in!”
“Not in?” the professor muttered absent-mindedly, “then I'll come again a little while later.” With this he strolled back to his lab.
[译注] 有位教授，当他回到家时，还在想着一个深奥的问题。在门边，它按了三次门铃。接着一个女仆的声音从二楼响应说：「对不起，教授不在！」
