[J-127] Heavy Mourning 严重的哀悼
When a mountain preacher came to call, he was surprised to find his parishioner attired in heavy mourning. “My goodness, sister, has your husband died?” he asked.
“Oh, no, not this one,” she replied. “But he's been nagging and bothering me so much that I went back into mourning for my first husband.”
[译注] 当一个山上的布道者来拜访时，他惊讶看到一个他教区的人身穿严重的丧服。「天啊，姊妹，你丈夫死了吗？」他问。
「啊，不，不是这一位，」她回答。「但他一直那么唠叨而惹烦我，所以我回过头来为我第一任丈夫而哀伤。」
注： preacher (布道者，牧师，教士)， parishioner (教区之人)， be attired (= be clothed, 身穿)， heavy mourning (严重的哀伤、丧服)， nag (唠叨)。
