[J-167]  I Must Find It

A professor was on board a train.  When the conductor came to check his ticket, he could not find it.  The conductor said, Take it easy.  I'll come back later.

When the conductor returned, the professor was still unable to produce the ticket.  But since the professor looked so honest, the conductor said, Forget about it.  I'm sure you bought a ticket.  Just tell the collector you have lost it when you leave the station.

But kind sir, I must find it.  Otherwise, I won't know where to get off.  After saying so, the professor went on ferreting for the ticket.
