[J-166] You Need Some Change
A lady lost her purse in the mart. It was found by an honest boy and returned to her. Inspecting her purse and finding her ten-dollar bill missing, the lady looked at the boy and said, “But the bill, you know there was a ten-dollar bill in it.”
“I didn't steal it,” replied the boy quickly. “It was only changed into the ten one-dollar bills. Didn't you find them?”
“But why? Why did you take the trouble to change it?” The lady wondered. “Well, I think you need some change,” the boy assured the lady. “The last time I found a lady's bag, she had no change for a reward.”
