Sandy and Mac were having dinner together, when, to Mac's disgust, Sandy calmly helped himself to the larger fish on the platter.  Fine manners you've got, Sandy, Mac admonished.  If I'd been in your place, I'd have taken the smaller fish.

 

Well, replied Sandy with his mouth full, ye've got it!

山弟和马克一起在吃晚餐。这时候,令马克厌恶的是:山弟安安静静地帮自己吃那块盘上较大的鱼。「你有好礼貌吧,山弟,」马克规劝说。「如果我在你的位置,我会用较小的那块鱼。」

注: to one's disgust (令某人厌恶的是) help oneself to ... (自行吃) fish (鱼,鱼

     ) platter (盛鱼、肉之大浅盘) admonish (规劝) in one's place (取代某

     ) ye = you.
