Mistaking the word “impregnable” to mean “not able to become pregnant,” Albert had this dialogue with Brian: A: I think Jane is impregnable B: She surely is. She has a son now. A: Impossible! Is she another Virgin Mary? B: For Jesus sake, what do you mean? A: I mean: since she cannot become pregnant, how come she has a son? B: But you've just said she is impregnable. You mean she can conceive. Hearing this dialogue, Cecil cut in and said amusingly: “You don't conceive, Brian. Albert thinks that Jane is as firm as a fortress. She is unconquerable. And she hasn't lost her maidenhead yet.”
