Boss A: Do you know how lousy my secretary is? She types sixty mistakes per minute. Boss B: Mine is even worse. Each time I dictate a letter to her, she just takes down “Dear Sir” and “Sincerely yours.”
[译注] 老板A： 你知道我的秘书多差劲吗？她每分钟打错六十字。 老板B： 我的更差。每次我念一封信叫她写下，她就只记下「亲爱的先生」和「真诚地你的人」。
注：lousy (差劲的)， dictate (念给人家记下)， “Dear Dir” 与 “Sincerely yours”为英文书信起头与结尾用语。
