A customer came to a shopkeeper and protested angrily, “This sculpture is a fake. It's not carved of ivory at all. I want my money back.”
“Sir, we don't sell fake goods,” the shopkeeper assured the customer. “If this is artificial or imitation ivory, it must be from a false tusk. But did you ever see any elephant wearing false tusks as we wear false teeth?”
