[J-71]   Another Appendix

I am a doctor.  I often receive calls at midnight.  One night, a call roused me from my sweet sleep.  A familiar tone was saying, Sorry to have disturbed you, but my wife may be suffering from appendicitis now.  I remembered the caller and reminded him: Are you sure?  Your wife had her appendix removed already a couple of years ago, didn't she?  Then I added, with sarcasm, Have you ever heard of a woman with two appendices?  The man at the other end answered, I haven't.  But I have often heard of divorces and remarriages.
