A sun-baked cowboy swaggered into a saloon and through parched lips ordered the bartender to give his horse a buck of his best whisky.
“And what'll you have, stranger?” asked the bartender. “Nothing,” shot back the dusty cowboy. “I'm driving!”
[译注] 一个阳光晒黑的牛仔昂首阔步进入一间沙龙，而经由焦干的嘴唇命令酒保给他的马一块钱的上好威士忌。
「陌生人啊，那你要什么？」酒保问。 「不用，」那风尘的牛仔射回去说。「我在驾驶呢！」
注： I'm driving = I'm going to drive (将要开车、驾驶、驱马)， sun-baked (阳光晒黑、烤过的)， swagger (高视阔步)， saloon (沙龙、酒店)， parched (烧焦的，干渴的)， bartender (酒保，酒店服务生)， shoot back (快速回话)，buck = dollar。
